Hoof Capsule Fracture in a Foal

Below is the first paper I published. It was a case involving a 3-month-old foal that I did with the late, great Eddie Watson. Eddie was a phenomenal farrier and one of my mentors. When this foal put weight on its foot, the foot spread apart and looked like a cow. Thinking back, I would use the same approach today. Please excuse the pictures in the paper as it was published along time ago.
